This is not a love story. This is a story about love.

Ví el trailer en el cine hace un par de semanas y estuve ansiosa por verla, no me queda nada por dentro lo admito con orgullo, me encantan los chick flicks, más lo que son interesantes cómo éste, la música, las referencias culturales, la fotografía, la propuesta gráfica, y el guión, me es difícil encontrar que es lo que más me gustó, porque de verdad que me gustó de principio a final.

No sé cuanta gente conozco que sea como dirían por ahí “real” que son COMO SON, que no van engañándose por la vida, de eso va para mí ésta película, o eso fue de las cosas que más me gustaron.

Amé ambos personajes, Tom y Summer; Tom cree en el amor, Summer no: a lo que él le dice “is just Love is not Santa Claus” “es Amor no es Santa!”, pero claro que cada quien cree lo que cree y sabe (aunque sea en el fondo) lo que quiere, lo díficil es ser lo suficientemente valiente para afrontarlo y decirlo, aún a uno mismo.

La vida es así bella y a veces es extremandamente difícil que no te las ingenies con todas tus fuerzas para complicartela.

El Soundtrack te lleva por toda la historia al mismo tiempo que la vives; coherente, pertinente, y además con referencias de música que me ha llevado por mí vida, The Smiths, Joy Division, y Simon and Garfunkel (parte fundamental de mi más tierna infancia) the Black Lips HERE COMES YOUR MAN!!!, Regina Spektor, Feist… me sentí targeted y me gustó, me hicieron disfrutar de las cosas que más me gusta, buena música, buena fotografía, buena acctuación, buena historia. Qué hay para no gustar!

Recuerdo hace algunos años cuando salió The Bridget Jones Diaries que la hermana mayor de un amigo, comentaba lo identificada que se sentía con ella, y yo la verdad al momento no la entendí, mis problemas eran que se yo ¿pasar de grado?; en éste caso entendí lo que le había pasado a ella, ésta es mi generación, los personajes tienen parte de mí y de la gente que me rodea.

Quiero decir como mil cosas más… otro día.

Es linda.
